MRVIEW^® the Total Document Imaging Solution CRS has developed a Total Solution concept called MRVIEW, consisting of imaging software specially engineered for the healthcare environment and data capture services. Our unique software was developed from years of experience doing on-site projects and converting billions of paper documents to alternative formats.
Integration of Available Electronic Data For healthcare organizations that are not ready to purchase an EHR, MRVIEW can integrate all available clinical data from other systems in the facility (laboratory reports, transcribed reports, etc.), providing easy access to this data alongside the document images. MRVIEW recognizes, sorts, indexes, and files this ASCII data as it is sent to a serial interface (standard printer) using advance C.O.L.D. technology and requires no costly interfaces. In essence, this provides a basic, cost-effective EHR for the healthcare organization, enabling electronic access to an entire patient record and utilizing imaging solely for data that were once only available on paper.
Interfaces MRVIEW accepts data from ADT or patient registration systems, so that demographics can be automatically downloaded. Also, there are real-time interfaces with EHRs and other healthcare information systems, to provide integrated workstation access to document images along with all other patient data. TIFF images can be uploaded to the EHR or HIS to be accessed by the viewing module of those systems. MRVIEW successfully interfaces with numerous EHR information systems such as Meditech, SoftMed, Cerner, Epic, McKesson, Eclipsys, Siemens and others.

MRVIEW^® Document Capture CRS utilizes this software along with state-of-the-art scanning equipment to maximize throughput and accuracy. Over 25 years of microfilming experience and ten years of scanning has led to impressive programming and workflow enhancements, enabling CRS to provide its outsourcing service at an attractive price. These enhancements not only increase productivity but enhance the overall quality of our imaging services. There are many aspects to medical record document imaging that are not necessary for other types of imaging markets, such as banks, libraries, government facilities, etc.- MRVIEW software has been specifically designed for healthcare documents.
MRVIEW^® Document Retrieval and Viewing This user-friendly software makes it easy for clinicians and administrative personnel to instantly access any electronic document on the system, while incorporating an audit trail and record lockout to support HIPAA compliance. The viewing options are extremely flexible, enabling such capabilities as section tabs, multi-page viewing, zoom, rotate, print, fax, and email. To meet the specific needs of users, MRVIEW offers both a client/server and Web version. If the client has existing images from another system, MRVIEW is flexible enough to import existing images from these systems.
MRVIEW^® Registration The Registration component will photograph patients presenting themselves to the healthcare facility. It will easily capture the identification cards (insurance card, license, etc.), physician orders and consent forms. Once captured, this vital information can be made available to anyone on the hospital network with appropriate access rights. This is a valuable tool for enhancing security and confidentiality while preventing identity theft and lost revenue.
MRVIEW^® Coding Management Coding Management software manages the active coding process for both inhouse and off-site coders. MRVIEW automatically assigns scanned images to coders, monitors workflow, and reports productivity. It enables instant messaging between the supervisor and coders, flagging of images, reassignment of images, and split screen to work concurrently with other software. Although the HSS encoder is built in, MRVIEW is compatible with all vendors' encoders.
Additional MRVIEW^® Coding Management software features: Predetermined groups for assigning records to be coded. Detailed coder schedule of work by percentage or manually. Instant messaging between management and coders. Bookmarking feature within email to flag the specific document within a record that needs clarification or referencing. Split screen function to view multiple software systems along with the document images. Comprehensive audit trail that records date, time, location, and user. Capability to manage overflow of records. Reassignment of records to coders or auditors due to errors or audits. Smart caching, which allows temporary storage of images and automatic deletion on workstations. Detailed and summary management reports. Various alerts sent to administrator, e.g., coder being on a single document too long. An option to utilize the HSS encoder, embedded into MRVIEW, eliminating the need to use the split screen. However, MRVIEW is compatible with all encoders.
